I like craft beer and Guinness. I like cheap beer and expensive beer. I wish there weren't so many craft beers because now I get overwhelmed by the choices!

Guinness, an iconic 257-year-old brand, backed by its parent company Diageo, the spirits market leader that also owns Johnnie Walker, Smirnoff, and Baileys.
Putting it a little lightly, for sure.

I never knew this story.
BrewDog is opening their US operation in my city, so that’s solid info. I’ve seen James and Martin hang out at a few bars in town during various business trips setting up that operation

“The craft brewer has called Diageo everything from “dumbass corporate freaks” to manufacturers of “mass-produced rubbish” like Guinness”
Sounds professional.

The same people make Ketel One and Popov? I’m never paying that extra $20 again.

Huh, I didn’t know Ballast Point got sold. I bought a 6er of Sculpin last week, and didn’t think it was as good as I remember it. May have just been rose-tinted shades, but now I’m curious if they changed anything as so often happens in such acquisitions.
